Amaran Box Office Collection Day 12: Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi starrer Tamil movie has been performing well at the ticket windows. The military war drama crossed Rs 150 crore in its second weekend. However, it could not pass the second Monday test as it witnessed a major drop in numbers. This has surely created difficulty for the movie to reach a substantial amount soon. If it sees an upward trend this week then there is a chance of reaching the Rs 200 crore mark by the end of this weekend. 

Amaran Box Office Collection Day 12

As per Sacnilk, the movie earned Rs 5.25 crore on Day 12. The net collection of Amaran stands at Rs 159.00 crore. It had 29.15 per cent Tamil occupancy in theatres on Monday. It had 22.68 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 27.12 per cent in afternoon shows, 34.58 per cent in evening shows and 32.22 per cent in night shows. On the other hand, It had 21.58 per cent Telugu occupancy in theatre. It had 16.36 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 24.88 per cent in the afternoon shows, 20.85 per cent in evening shows and 24.22 per cent in night shows. 

About Amaran

The story revolves around the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan and his sacrifice to the nation during the Qazipathri Operation in 2014. The movie features Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Suresh Chakravarthy, Shreekumar and Mir Salman in key roles.

Director Rajkumar Periasamy has made this movie on a budget of Rs 130 crore. The film has been produced by Kamal Haasan, R. Mahendran and Vivek Krishnani.
