Anaconda Cast Announced: The word Anaconda always brings back memories of the heart-wrenching adventure in the jungle that kept fans on the edge of their seats. To bring back that excitement and thrill with a new twist, the makers are ready to come out with the highly anticipated installment of Anaconda. They announced the cast of the Anaconda reboot, starring Jack Black and Paul Rudd, in an interesting way on social media. The cast promises a fresh cinematic experience like never before.
The exciting update about Anaconda shared by Sony Pictures on social media. In the announcement video shared on YouTube, Jack Black can be seen singing and announcing the names of the actors appearing in the film. He is joined by Paul Rudd and Selton Mello, who are banging the bongos while Rudd plays the guitar. While the plot of the movie remains under wraps, this announcement video has created waves and increased anticipation among netizens.
The film, directed by Tom Gormican, features Thandiwe Newton, Steve Zahn, Selton Mello, and Daniela Melchior in pivotal roles. The movie is slated for release this Christmas. Anaconda will feature Jack Black as Doug McCallister, Paul Rudd as Griff, Selton Mello as Santiago, Thandiwe Newton as Claire Simons, Steve Zahn as Kenny Trent, Daniela Melchior as Ana Almeida and Ione Skye as Malie McCallister.
Gormican, along with Kevin Etten, has penned the screenplay. The film is backed under the banner of Columbia Pictures, along with TSG Entertainment and Fully Formed Entertainment. Anaconda is a retelling of the 1997 film, which was directed by Luis Llosa and starred Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube, Eric Stoltz and Jon Voight in the lead roles.
This will be the sixth installment in the Anaconda series after success of Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid, Anaconda 3: Offspring, Anacondas: Trail of Blood and among others.
