High on success, Ankita Lokhande is currently busy on several projects, especially after her stint in Bigg Boss Season 16. However, on Tuesday, Ankita unveiled the first look from her upcoming project. The ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actor will be seen playing Amrapali in the web series of the same name.

Filmmaker Sandeep Singh took to his Instagram handle and wrote, “Presenting @lokhandeankita as #Amrapali, the epitome of strength, grace, and resilience. This captivating series delves into the untold saga of the royal courtesan, revealing her journey filled with emotions and challenges. Stay tuned for this grand spectacle, produced by @officiallegendstudios The series marks the much-awaited comeback of the musical maestro @ismaildarbarofficial.” Ankita reposted the same post on her social media space.
Netizens took to the comments section and hailed the first look from Amrapali. A user wrote, “wow! congratulations to whole team thanks @lokhandeankita for not taking a long break this time after a project :3 keep shining,” another one commented, “U look stunning beauty and all the best fir your project... you are going to slay,” a person also wrote, “This looks amazing! I'm so happy for you. Congratulations sweetheart,” others also dropped similar reactions.
On the work front, Ankita Lokhande was last seen in a music video, also featuring Saurabh Sachdeva and Vicky Jain. She also starred in Randeep Hooda’s Swatantrya Veer Savarkar which hit the theatres on March 22, 2024.
The movie faced criticism due to its portrayal of historical events, with some accusing it of distorting facts and pushing a biased agenda. However, it also garnered acclaim for the outstanding performances delivered by its actors.
