Bigg Boss 18: Muskan Bamne, best known for playing Paakhi Shah, aka Sweety, in the popular TV show Anupamaa, has made her debut as a contestant in the reality show Bigg Boss 18. After three years on Anupamaa, the actress left the show in December 2023 to explore new opportunities in her acting career. Now, she’s ready to face a new challenge in Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss house.

In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Muskan shared her reasons for joining Bigg Boss 18 and spoke about her excitement to be on the show. For Muskan, the opportunity to be in a show hosted by Salman Khan was a significant factor in her decision. “I am a big fan of Salman Sir,” she said, expressing her admiration for the Bollywood superstar. “I think it is a show where you can grow as a person because you are in a house without distractions, spending time with a handful of people.”

While discussing her expectations from Bigg Boss, Muskan mentioned that she hopes to portray her true self on the show. She wants audiences to see her as a person beyond the characters she has played on TV. “The purpose of doing a reality show is to show our true personality to the audiences,” she said. “I want people to get to know me better.”

Muskan acknowledged that conflicts are inevitable inside the Bigg Boss house but shared her approach to dealing with them. “I will go with a fresh mindset and not let my mental health be affected,” she said. “I am excited to experience a new side of myself and explore how I react in such situations.” When asked about her on-screen image, Muskan humorously pointed out that her fans have already seen her fight a lot on Anupamaa. “It won’t be new for them to see me arguing in Bigg Boss,” she said with a laugh.
