Renowned Indian playback singer Arijit Singh and globally acclaimed DJ Martin Garrix have sparked rumours of a collaboration, much to the excitement of fans. The speculation began when Martin Garrix shared a photo on Instagram featuring himself and Arijit Singh sitting together, with Garrix holding a guitar and Singh with a couple of notebooks. The two were all smiles, suggesting a promising partnership. Garrix captioned the photo, “incredible week, thank you @arijitsingh.”
The photo quickly went viral, with fans flooding the comments section with excitement. One fan wrote, “This is huge, cannot wait for the collab.” Another commented, “One of the biggest collaborations is coming, wow.” A third added, “Can’t wait to hear this one.”
This potential collaboration fulfills a dream Arijit Singh mentioned last year during a podcast hosted by Tarsame Mittal. Singh expressed his admiration for Martin Garrix's music and his desire to work with him. Following the podcast, Garrix began following Singh on Instagram, hinting at the possibility of future collaboration.
Martin Garrix, the Dutch DJ and producer, has a massive fan following in India, having performed in the country multiple times. His last India tour, which took place earlier last year, included performances in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata, New Delhi and Ahmedabad. Garrix, known for hits like 'Animals', 'In the Name of Love', 'Summer Days' and 'Scared to Be Lonely', has a special connection with Indian audiences, who eagerly anticipate his euphoric sold-out stadium performances.
Arijit Singh, on the other hand, is celebrated for his romantic and soulful melodies. He has become a household name in India, often referred to as the ‘King of Playback Singing.’ Since his debut, Singh has amassed a significant following, thanks to his melodious voice and an ever-growing collection of hit songs.
His journey from participating in the reality show Fame Gurukul at the age of 18 to becoming an overnight sensation in 2013 with Aashiqui 2's 'Tum Hi Ho' is nothing short of inspiring. Singh has won numerous accolades, including a National Award for 'Binte Dil' from 'Padmaavat' and several Filmfare Awards.

The collaboration between these two musical powerhouses has fans eagerly awaiting what is sure to be a monumental track. Garrix’s statement, “India is one of my favourite countries to perform at, so I’m super excited to finally return and party with all my fans,” reflects his enthusiasm for engaging with his Indian fanbase, which will likely extend to his collaboration with Singh.
