Actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan marked husband Abhishek Bachchan’s 50th birthday with a warm and affectionate wish on social media. Taking to Instagram on Thursday, she shared a throwback photograph of Abhishek to celebrate the special occasion. The black-and-white image, which was cropped closely, featured only the eyes of a baby Abhishek Bachchan looking straight into the camera.
Alongside the picture, Aishwarya penned a heartfelt caption filled with emojis, writing, "Happy HAPPY 50th Birthday dearest Babyyy-Papa." She also wrote, "(Nazar amulet, birthday cake, hug face and sparkling heart emojis) with lots of love, peace, happiness, contentment and best health God Blesssss (sparkles emoji) Stay Golden… Shine on Love (face with three hearts, red heart and sparkles emojis)."
The post quickly drew warm reactions from fans, who flooded the comments section with love and birthday wishes. One fan wrote, “Aww, such a cute picture, happy birthday,” while another commented, “Beautifully written, Aishwarya!” Several others also wished the couple happiness, with one message reading, “Beautiful couple, be happy together always.”
Earlier in the day, Abhishek’s father, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, also acknowledged the outpouring of love for his son. Taking to his blog, Amitabh thanked fans for their wishes and blessings, writing that their affection gives Abhishek the courage and strength to keep moving forward.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen on screen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: II, which released in 2023. The actor is yet to announce her next film project. Abhishek Bachchan was most recently seen in Madhumita’s Kaalidhar Laapata, which also featured Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub and Daivik Bhagela. He is next set to appear in Siddharth Anand’s King, where he will share screen space with Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan and others.
