Bad Newz, starring Vicky Kaushal, Trpti Dimri and Ammy Virk in lead roles, is all set to hit the theatres. According to a recent report by Bollywood Hungama, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has made some significant changes to the upcoming film just days before its release. Specifically, the board has decided to remove three scenes from the movie that feature intimate kissing moments between two characters. These scenes, which were originally intended to be part of the final cut, have been deemed unsuitable for audiences and have been deleted in their entirety.

According to the report, one of the removed scenes was 9 seconds long, while the other two were 10 seconds and 8 seconds in duration, respectively. This decision by the CBFC has likely been made to ensure that the film meets the board's guidelines and standards for cinematic content.
About Bad Newz
Bad Newz is a spiritual successor to the 2019 film Good Newwz, and explores a unique and intriguing concept in the realm of human reproduction. Specifically, the story delves into the phenomenon of heteropaternal superfecundation, a rare and fascinating occurrence in which a woman gives birth to twins who have different biological fathers. This unusual circumstance arises when a woman releases multiple eggs during ovulation, which are then fertilised by sperm from different men, resulting in the conception of twins with distinct paternal DNA. The film navigates the complexities and consequences of this extraordinary situation, offering a fresh and captivating narrative.
The film's soundtrack features a diverse and talented lineup of composers, including Rochak Kohli, Vishal Mishra, Lijo George-DJ Chetas, Prem-Hardeep, Karan Aujla, and Abhijeet Srivastava. Meanwhile, Amar Mohile has crafted the background score, adding depth and emotion to the film's narrative.
The music release strategy has been staggered, with the first single, Tauba Tauba, making its debut on July 2, 2024. This was followed by the second single, Jaanam, which dropped on July 9, 2024. Most recently, a remixed version of the classic song Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam was released on July 14, 2024. This revamped rendition pays homage to the original composition by Anu Malik, which was featured in the 1998 film Duplicate. The new version offers a fresh spin on the beloved classic, blending nostalgia with contemporary flair.
