This Diwali is gearing up to be a massive treat for Bollywood fans, as two major films, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again, are officially set to clash at the box office. With neither side backing down, the stage is set for an exciting showdown.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has doubled down on its Diwali release with a brand-new poster, shared by the film’s cast, including Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan and Tripti Dimri. The eerie poster, perfectly aligned with the franchise's spooky aesthetic, shows a locked door with an iron '3' fixed on it, teasing fans with the caption, "Darwaza Khulega... Iss Diwali #BhoolBhulaiyaa3."

A new poster released on September 26 teases an intense battle between Rooh Baba played by Kartik Aaryan and the OG Manjulika portrayed by Vidya Balan. The official post caption read, "Rooh Baba Vs Manjulika…Iss Diwali #BhoolBhulaiyaa3", hinting at the movie's plot and how other actors such as Tripti Dimri and Madhuri Dixit would appear in the movie.

While the exact release date remains under wraps, the film is expected to hit theatres on the first weekend of November, putting it directly against Rohit Shetty’s much-anticipated cop drama, Singham Again. Despite initial reports suggesting that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s team reached out to the makers of Singham Again for a postponement, both films seem determined to release during the festive season.

In an interview, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 director Anees Bazmee acknowledged that while a clash is not ideal, he's confident about his film. He emphasized that great content will succeed regardless of release dates and left the final call to the producers and distributors. Meanwhile, Singham Again is also locked in for a Diwali release, with its trailer expected to drop in early October.
