JE Entertainment Desk: Bigg Boss OTT 2 saw its first Weekend Ka Vaar episode, with people taking sides online and calling out Salman Khan, the host of the show, for being biased. As hundreds of people saw the episode live, many did not agree with Salman Khan lashing out at Akanksha Puri, Abhishek Malhan, and Palak Purswani.
Akanksha Puri was accused of a false narrative, telling Avinash Sachdeva that model Jad Hadid was making her feel uncomfortable, when she could have stayed away from him. Earlier this live, the live camera caught Jad Hadid pulling Akanksha towards him, where she told him clearly that she is not comfortable with him being touchy.
Despite their situation, Akanksha Puri was seen hanging out and flirting with him, whereas she clearly stated to him that she is not looking out for a relationship with anyone inside the house.

Salman Khan also said that she felt 'unsafe' around Bebika when the two were in Jail, as she was speaking with herself and cursing her and hoping that she got locked in the washroom and that it would be better for her to see a doctor. Salman then lashed at her and said that she does not have the qualifications to recommend her for any medical assistance.
The host then targeted Palak Purswani for the claims she made about suffering from OCD but did not care enough for the mess she made when she entered the house. On the other hand, Abhishek Malhan was asked to be more active inside the house, where he tried connecting with Bebika but he couldn't.
As soon as the episode went live fans said that Salman Khan is pulling the wrong contestants down, where one social media user said, "I really don't understand why Salman Khan was so rude to #AkanshaPuri. She has literally done nothing of such short. She is so elegant and classy I love her."
Another comment stated, "#AkankshaPuri is being over targeted by the makers, she has done nothing to deserve such bashing. Although it is going to help her game wise through audience but it will demotivate her inside the house." One more user wrote, "Akanksha Puri is being slut slammed by Biggboss and Salman. Not surprising from an asshol3 like Salman Khan."
A few people also noticed how Pooja Bhatt was also put on a pedestal by the star, where one user wrote, "What about Pooja Butt being called Strong, Sherni and Khiladi by Salman Khan… Hadd biasedness hai... They are seeing faults only in #FukraInsaan ... Akanksha partially deserve this but now too much bashing and punishment.."
Bigg Boss OTT season 1 was hosted by director-producer Karan Johar, whereas the second season was taken over by Salman Khan. The season will be streaming for 6 weeks on Jio Cinema.
