Bigg Boss Tamil 8: In an interesting twist, this week a strong contender has been evicted from the show. Sachana, Anshitha and Sunita Gogoi were in danger zone. But Sunita got eliminated in the fifth week. The contestants were quite emotional when the Gogoi left the house. After her name was announced, she went to the garden area and smashed the Bigg Boss trophy. Then she joined host Vijay Sethupathi on the stage where they exchanged a few words. Later, the actor wished the former contestant for her future. 

After her eviction, several netizens shared their disappointment on social media. A user said, “One of great player in this season #SunitaGogoi But, got evicted! Lot of fake faces also there, but they are playing. Good player got evicted.” Another user said, “My 1st BB related post of this season..! Felt really very sad for #Sunitha's eviction Better than many mixtures & fakes in the BB house Really a great loss to BB8 both as content and entertainment wise.” 

A tweet read, “#SunitaGogoi You're beautiful, and I truly admire the way you carry yourself. All the very best.”

Another tweet read, “Have to appreciate that #Sunitha is the first eviction contestant who came out and saw this game as a game. Negative ah yaarukum sollama . Happy ah pogura ponnu . But ivanga dha pick me girl to poraliees. Idhunala dha da neenga na allergic ah iruku. #BiggBossTamil8.” 


Notably, six contestants had a wildcard entry. The name includes Varshini Venkat, Raanav, Rayan, Manjari Narayanan, Shiva Kumar and Riya Thiyagarajan. On the other hand, participants like Ravindar, Arnav, Dharsha Gupta and Sunita have exited from the reality TV show. 

Now, Bigg Boss Tamil 8 has contestants like Sathya, Soundariya, Ranjith, Sachana, Jacquline, Raayan, Varshini, Shiva Kumarr, Jeffrey, Vishal, Deepak, Muthukumaran, Anshitha, Arun, Pavitra, Tharshika, Riya, Ranav, Ananthi and Manjari.
