BLACKPINK’ Jennie is all set to make her smashing solo comeback with the song ‘You & Me.’ YG Entertainment announced plans to roll out a special version of the song in October marking Jennie solo comeback after 2018. The singer already surprised her fans with the unreleased version of ‘You & Me’ during BLACKPINK’ BORN PINK world tour, and now is set to release the full length official video of the song.
On October 4, BLACKPINK’ official X (formerly known as Twitter) handle unveiled the new poster and the release date of the song. This will be the third version of the same song which was sung in the BORN PINK tour and also in the Coachella version. The song will be released on October 6, 2023 at 1:00 PM Korean Standard Time. In the poster, Jennie can be seen wearing a red sultry ensemble paired up with hot red shoes and a ribbon in hand. She can be seen flaunting her perfect glass skin as she stands in front of a giant mood.

On August 9, Jennie’s ‘You & Me’ was registered at the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers. Post the debut of the song in the BORN PINK tour, she remixed the song which also included a rap verse and was released at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. For the unversed, the ASCAP is a nonprofit organisation that provides performance rights to streaming services, venues, and broadcasters.

On August 8, the K-Pop girl group celebrated their seventh anniversary, whereas on September 17, the BORN PINK tour officially came to an end with a bang. Throughout the global tour, all the members of the group i.e. Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa came together for group performances as well as gave their individual performance as well. Over 1.8 million people attended the 66 concerts across the globe which had 34 different locations.
