BLACKPINK Jisoo has been keeping fans on the edge of their seats with her exciting updates about new music and an upcoming Kdrama. In a recent chat, Jisoo hinted that “winter has already come,” sparking speculation that she’s gearing up for a packed schedule filled with filming and music releases. With her playful teases, she confirmed she’ll be returning to the screen and hinted at working on new songs, making fans more excited than ever.

Jisoo has been dropping hints about her role in a new drama, Monthly Boyfriend, which fans are speculating could be a romantic or comedy-driven series. While she hasn’t shared too many details about her character, her excitement for the project is evident. Alongside her acting plans, Jisoo has also hinted at new music, teasing her fans by posting on Bubble, “I heard all of MY SONGS! LOL obviously… You’re still jealous, right?” Blinks worldwide are thrilled, hoping to hear the new tracks soon.

The anticipation doesn’t stop there. Jisoo revealed that she’s been listening to her new songs on repeat, playfully keeping Blinks in suspense by saying, “Until then… I’ll listen to it myself! As for her solo career, Jisoo’s debut single, FLOWER, has reached a milestone of 1 billion streams on YouTube Music. Released on March 31, 2023, FLOWER became the fastest song by a female Kpop soloist to hit this number, achieving it in only 575 days. The song, known for its captivating beats and catchy chorus, took social media by storm, especially with its viral dance challenge that even fellow Kpop idols joined in on.

In addition to Monthly Boyfriend, Jisoo has completed filming for Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, a film set to premiere in the summer of 2025 and she is expected to make her Kdrama comeback with a zombie-themed series, Newtopia.
