BLACKPINK Jisoo is one of the most popular Kpop stars and enjoys a huge fan following. The Kpop idol made her much-awaited solo album debut in 2023 with 'ME', which became a chartbuster. She has achieved a new milestone in her career as her album 'Me' has crossed one billion streams on YouTube Music. 'Me' was released in 2023 and has been one of the most popular albums of the year.
'ME' has also become the first album by a Korean soloist to achieve this milestone.

Jisoo earlier celebrated the one-year anniversary of 'Me' and penned a sweet note for fans. She wrote, "It‘s already been a year since my first solo album, [ME], was released to the world! I still vividly remember the nerves and excitement from my first solo in almost 7 years. ”Flower“, which bloomed with great love, will forever blossom within me."
She added, "To all my BLINKs and everyone who loved my first solo title ”Flower“, may happiness always bloom in your hearts. Thank you, and much love to you all. I will continue spreading love and strive to be deserving too."

On the work front, Jisoo will be seen in the movie 'Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint', based on a webtoon of the same name. The movie revolves around Dokja, who is an average office worker and shows a great interest in reading the web novel 'Three Ways to Survive the Apocalypse.' His life turns upside down when the novel's story becomes a reality and he is the only person who is aware of how the world will end. Dokja uses his knowledge to change the story and survive. The movie also stars Lee Min Ho, Ahn Hyo Seop, Nana and Chae Soobin.

She will be seen in the kdrama 'Influenza' alongside 'Start-Up' actor Park Jung-Min. The movie is based on a novel written by author Han Sang-woon and will focus on a zombie apocalypse that happens before a couple decides to break up.
