Bobby Deol's impactful portrayal in the Ranbir Kapoor-fronted 'Animal' left a lasting impression, igniting considerable chatter. After the movie's cinematic debut, Bobby has seen a surge in his fan following. In a recent interview, he candidly shared his struggle with self-doubt while filming 'Animal', acknowledging uncertainties regarding his performance despite receiving acclaim from the movie's director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Speaking at the The Film Companion Actors’ Adda, Bobby said, "The scene where I put the finger on my mouth. I was just told what to do and speak in the sign language. I was like, ‘Okay, fine.’ I knew the dialogue because I had to practice it in sign language."

He added, "So, when I just went and did that shot, I don’t want to boast but it was a one take shot and everybody started clapping and I was like, ‘Maine kya kia, why are people clapping?’ Sandeep comes to me and says, ‘Sir, that was an award winning shot.’ I was like, ‘I am working for so many years, no actor has told me this thing.’ I was happy inside but I was also thinking that maybe I am not able to do it and that’s why he is, ‘What a shot.’ So this is what I experienced. I lost the stardom but I never lost the love of the audience."
