Bollywood Actors Who Became Victims Of Horrific Robbery Incidents: Saif Ali Khan was attacked after an attempted robbery at his Bandra residence on January 16, 2025. The actor suffered from six stab wounds during the scuffle with the thief. He is currently under treatment at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. This is not the first time, an actor has become a victim of robbery. There are several instances before where top celebrities were either robbed on the streets of a foreign land or at their residence. 

Amitabh Bachchan

In an interview with Filmfare in 2001, Amitabh shared a horrific story of a robbery when he was in Boston, USA. The actor was walking in the lobby when six guys splashed paint on the back of his jacket. The thieves pretended to clean it despite refusing them. They snatched his briefcase which included his passport, money, letters from his parents and postcards from his kids. He felt helpless after this incident.  

Saif Ali Khan

This is not the first time that Saif was robbed. Earlier in 2014, the actor was robbed by some employees of his production house Illuminati Films. Two were arrested in the case as they stole 11 air-conditioners from his production office at 26th Road in Khar. 

Ajay Devgn And Kajol 

In 2013, two servants of the Bollywood star couple stole 17 gold bangles worth Rs 5.10 lakhs from their suburban Juhu residence. The thieves were later arrested by the police. 

Sushmita Sen 

In 2012, when Sushmita was on an exotic vacation in Greece. Her belongings were robbed at the Athens airport. She was left with nothing after the incident. 

Sonam Kapoor 

In 2016, the fashion diva’s diamond necklace worth Rs 5 lakhs was stolen from her residence. She kept it in her bedroom’s drawer after she had worn it at a party, the same night. As per reports, the necklace was never found since then.
