Balkaur Singh and his wife, Charan Kaur, recently welcomed their second son, whom they named Shubhdeep after Sidhu's late brother, Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu. The family's joyous occasion was commemorated with images of Balkaur, Shubhdeep, and Sidhu being displayed on the iconic Times Square billboard. Videos of the billboard display quickly spread online, eliciting a wave of emotional responses from fans.
In one video shared by a fan, the billboard prominently features images of Balkaur and Shubhdeep, as well as a childhood picture of Sidhu Moosewala. The tribute also includes a picture of Sidhu with his father, highlighting the strong bond between the family members. Fans were quick to react to the heartfelt gesture, with many describing it as a "big moment" and a testament to Sidhu's enduring legacy.
Following the birth of their son, Balkaur took to Instagram to share a photo of the newborn, with a caption that read, "Legends never die," alongside a picture of Sidhu. The Moosewala family's joy, however, was marred by controversy as Balkaur alleged that the Punjab government was questioning the legality of Shubhdeep's birth, reportedly due to the child being born via IVF. Balkaur reassured that he would provide all necessary legal documents to address the government's concerns.
