New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 4 continued its top run at the box office in the ongoing festive season on Saturday. The film added Rs 18.81 crore on Saturday to reach Rs 37.89 in the first two days of collection, confirmed Bollywood Trade Analyt Taran Adarsh. Earlier, the film had collected Rs 19.08 crore on opening day of its release to break its own record of part II and III that had collected Rs 12 and Rs 15 crore respectively.

The film is based on the reincarnation of characters and follows a non-linear narrative. Apart from Akshay, other stars in the film include Kriti Kharbanda, Kriti Sanon, Bobby Deol and Reteish Deshmukh. The Farhad Samji directorial is likely to continue its good run as the festive season lasts till Bhai Dooj (October 30).
Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy-starrer 'Made in China', on the other hand, reportedly managed to earn just Rs 6 crore in first three days at the box office. Despite roping in characters like Paresh Rawal and Boman Irani, the comedy film didn't perform as expected.
The Mikhil Musale directorial is based on the journey of a Gujarati businessman Raghu (played by Rajkummar Rao) who, after numerous failures, achieves success after teaming up with a sexologist in the business of selling aphrodisiacs. Mouni Roy plays the role of his wife in his film. 'Made in China' was released on October 25.
Meanwhile, Saand Ki Aankh featuring Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu managed to earn 13.5 crore in the first two days and it is likely to reach Rs 20 crore on Sunday. The Tushar Hiranandani is based on the sharpshooters 'Tomar sisters'-- Prakashi and Chandrao. The film includes Prakash Raj in pivotal roles. It was also released on October 25 along with 'Made in China'.
