JE Entertainment Desk: Greta Gerwig’s 'Barbie' movie is all set to arrive in theatres. Barbie stars Margot Robbie in the titular role and Ryan Gosling as Ken. It will be released alongside the much-anticipated film, 'Oppenheimer', starring Christopher Nolan in the lead role.
As per a recent report, 'Barbie' and 'Oppenheimer' forecast a US box office weekend of close to $200 million over July 21-23. According to a new report in Deadline, Warner Bros stated that Barbie's opening day collection will 'start of $80 million minimum'. This is also "a tampered-down expectation," the report continued, "because Barbie on paper has all the glitz for a potential $100 million start."
Speaking about 'Oppenheimer’s Box Office predictions, Christopher Nolan’s film is expected to make ‘$40 million-to-possible $50 million opening’. The report further mentioned, “It’s (Oppenheimer is) as much male and older as Barbie is female and younger.”\
About Barbie
Barbie is touted as one of the most-anticipated movies of the year 2023. Starring Ryan Gosling, Margot Robbie and Dua Lipa in the lead roles, the movie is scheduled to hit the theatres on July 21, 2023.

About 'Oppenheimer'
The upcoming American biographical film 'Oppenheimer', written and directed by Christopher Nolan, stars Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer, a theoretical physicist who is known as the "father of the atomic bomb" for his work on the Manhattan Project, which produced the first nuclear weapons during World War II.
