Bramayugam Trailer Out: On Saturday, the makers of ‘Bramayugam’ revealed a spine-chilling black-and-white preview for the much-awaited horror thriller starring Mammootty in the lead role, set to premiere on February 15. Impressively, the trailer skillfully maintains an air of secrecy by refraining from revealing any character names, thus heightening excitement for the mysterious storyline. Alongside Mammootty, the cast includes Arjun Ashokan, Sidharth Bharathan, and Amalda Liz, who play crucial roles in the movie.

Sharing the announcement of trailer launch on his official X account, Mammootty wrote, “#Bramayugam Trailer is OUT NOW !Malayalam : https://youtube.com/watch?v=55pzldrBRJM Tamil, Telugu, Kannada & Hindi.”

About Bramayugam

'Bramayugam', which translates to "Age of Madness," is an upcoming horror movie in the Malayalam language. It's both written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan, with dialogues penned by T. D. Ramakrishnan. The film is a collaboration between Chakravarthy Ramachandra and S. Sashikanth, produced under Night Shift Studios and YNOT Studios.

Shooting for the movie commenced on August 17, 2023, coinciding with the onset of the Kerala New Year. The filming started with a traditional pooja ceremony at Kochi's MJI Studios and later moved to Ottapalam. Mammootty completed his scenes by September 16, and the entire shooting wrapped up on October 18, 2023.

Bramayugam Synopsis

Thevan, a folk singer of the Paanan caste, has a fateful encounter when escaping slavery, leading to discover an ancient tradition altering his destiny.
