JE Entertainment Desk: K-pop boyband BTS celebrated its 10 years in the industry on June 13, 2023. While their fans painted the entire Seoul purple by marking the auspicious day in their ways, the Bangtan boys penned emotional letters for their ARMYs. However, on Wednesday, BTS member Jungkook wrote a letter of his own for ARMY. 

In his letter, Jungkook remembered the last ten years. The idol acknowledged that he can't recall every specific instance, but he assured supporters that the experience is stored in his heart. Here's the full translation of Jungkook's letter:

Jungkook's letter read, "I see that everyone wrote touching letters…I was debating how to write this, so I’m just going to write as myself, LOL. I know that I have gone through so much with ARMY, and it sometimes feels like it’s been too long, but in a blink of an eye, 10 years have passed?? [sic]I don’t remember every detail clearly."

"I think there were happy times and sad times and times when I cried, but I don’t remember them very clearly… Of course, I’m sure if we were to go over each incident, I would know them all. I think because I always focus on the present, it’s become a habit of mine to quickly forget the past… My hyungs remember everything… But if someone brings it up, I’ll know it (memories)!!! [sic] The memory is just on a brief vacation! All of the memories are in this Jungkook’s heart, LOL," he noted.

Jungkook further noted, "The fact that 10 years have gone by so fast means it has been really fun! You know, because if you aren’t having fun, time goes by slowly! Thanks to ARMY 10 years have gone by in a blink of an eye. Thank you for being with us for 10 years!!! I hope ARMY and BTS members are all healthy, so even in the future, we can walk together while loving each other :). I can’t even imagine a life without ARMY ㅜㅜ. But I just realized while writing that my personality has changed a lot. Hmm. Anyways, in conclusion, 10 years is nothing. 20 years, here we come!"
