Dynamite Scripts History: Kpop band BTS has reached a remarkable milestone with their popular English track ‘Dynamite’, surpassing an astounding 1.8 billion streams on Spotify. This achievement sets a new record within the KPop industry. Initially released on August 21, 2020, ‘Dynamite’ marked BTS's debut full-English single and was included in their album 'BE'. It took a span of three years and five months for  ‘Dynamite’ to achieve this significant streaming milestone on the Spotify platform. This milestone makes ‘Dynamite’ the first song ever by a Kpop artist and also among all Asian acts to achieve such a feat in Spotify's history.

Dynamite: Awards and Accolades

During the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, ‘Dynamite’ earned BTS their inaugural Grammy nomination in the category of Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. This recognition marked a historic moment for the band, as they became the first K-pop act to receive acknowledgment from the prestigious Recording Academy.

Additionally, the song enjoyed significant success in South Korea, winning five consecutive weekly Melon Popularity awards from September 9 to 28. Moreover, "Dynamite" achieved an impressive record of 32 wins on various music shows across South Korea.

BTS Military Enlistment

Each of the seven members of BTS has formally begun their service in the South Korean military, fulfilling their mandatory obligations. They are presently engaged in their respective duties, with the collective aspiration of regrouping as a unit in the year 2025.
