Despite his military obligations, Jhope continued to express his creativity. In March 2024, BIGHIT MUSIC released a six-part docuseries titled HOPE ON THE STREET, highlighting his artistic roots and love for street dance. The docuseries debuted globally on March 27 on Prime Video, much to the delight of fans eager for insights into Jhope’s life during his service. The accompanying album, HOPE ON THE STREET Vol. 1, featured the lead single Neuron, featuring notable artists Gaeko and Yoon Mirae.

The anticipation surrounding Jhope's discharge is heightened by the recent reunion of BTS, which occurred in June when Jin, the eldest member, completed his service. Fans fondly remember the heartwarming moment when the members welcomed Jin back, and now they eagerly await Jhope's return.
