On the work front, Jimin earlier released his first-ever solo album 'Face'. While talking about working on his song and album, Jimin revealed that he was lost and depressed. “'Set Me Free Pt. 2' was created when I was feeling lost and depressed. I was determined to overcome those feelings and this song conveys those emotions,” he said.
He added, "I think I wanted to express that emotion in the choreography as well. So the choreo turned out to be very intense like this but the people I’m working with are doing such a good job, I’m the only one I should be worried about."
Jimin also became the fastest K-pop soloist to reach one billion streams on Spotify. solo songs include OST for 'Our Blues', his collaboration with BIGBANG’s Taeyang for the latter's song ‘VIBE’, ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’, the five-track release album ‘FACE’ and 'Angel Pt.1' and 'Angel Pt. 2' for the film 'Fast X'.
