BTS, Kim Seokjin aka Jin recently participated in a military ceremony where he concluded the event by tossing his cap in the air. Whether this ceremony signifies the conclusion of Jin's active military duty remains uncertain. The eldest member of Kpop band enlisted in December 2022. Previously, there were reports indicating that Jin would return after fulfilling his service in two months, prompting the BTS fandom to share their excitement on various social media platforms.

A fan page shared a video of Jin from the ceremony along with a caption stating, "Company commander trainee Kim Seokjin verbal order in completion ceremony... I’m so proud of you JIN."

A few days after Jin commenced his mandatory military service and BangtanTV uploaded a video on its YouTube channel capturing the his arrival at the training center. The footage documented Jin's Entrance Ceremony, during which his fellow BTS members—RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—gathered to bid him farewell. Each member took individual selfies and group photos with Jin.

Addressing the BTS ARMY, Jin looked into the camera and said, "I'll go and come back safely. Since being healthy is first priority I won't be sick, and our ARMYs, fighting and don't be sick either." As the video ended, RM had added, "I'm worried about Jin hyung who doesn't like the cold but his younger brothers will follow him soon. It doesn't feel great to send him off but he does well wherever he goes. I believe he'll do well. It doesn't feel good but it's something everyone has to do, so fighting hyung. Don't get hurt, be healthy, and I'll prepare well too. Fighting!"

For the unversed, at the age of 31, Jin commenced his 18-month military service at a front-line South Korean boot camp located in Yeoncheon, near the tense border with North Korea. Following a five-week period of basic military training alongside other conscript soldiers, Jin and his fellow conscripts were subsequently assigned to army units.

Before entering military service, Jin treated his fans with a single titled 'Astronaut'. Additionally, if reports are to be believed, upon completing his mandatory military service, Jin will be launching his solo album.
