In the latest thrilling episode of Run Jin, Marry My Husband star Lee Yi-Kyung made a special appearance alongside his close friend of 17 years, BTS' Jin. Their enduring friendship was put to the test as they engaged in a heated tennis battle. The dynamic duo didn't just face off against each other; they also teamed up to take on two young and ambitious tennis players in an exciting doubles match.
Ahead of the thrilling tennis showdown, Jin took a moment to connect with the kids, asking them who is most handsome between him and Lee-Yi-Kyung.
BTS' Jin remembers Jungkook in latest episode of Run Jin
Jin asked the kids, “Before you choose your team, tell us first, who is more handsome." While one of the kids dubbed both the 'old men' as handsome, Jin wasn't satisfied and said, "No, you have to choose one.” In a heartfelt gesture, Lee Yi-Kyung asked a kid to choose Jin, but the latter ended up choosing the Marry My Husband star.
Lee Yi-kyung's euphoria was palpable as he burst into joyful leaps around the tennis court, basking in the thrill of victory. Meanwhile, Jin's reaction to being overlooked was an entertaining mix of mock despair and playful desperation. "Hey, Jungkook! Jungkook!" he exclaimed, suddenly remembering his fellow BTS member.
It's likely that Jin's sudden longing for Jungkook stemmed from two motivations. Firstly, Jungkook is notorious for lavishing praise on his "hyung" (older brother), consistently proclaiming Jin as the most handsome man alive. Secondly, earlier in the episode, the young tennis players had declared Jungkook as their ultimate bias, potentially triggering Jin's lighthearted insecurity and prompting him to invoke Jungkook's name.
