Jin recently celebrated his return from the military with BTS ARMY and organised a grand event. There was also a hug session with Jin, where he gave 1000 free hugs to BTS ARMY. While speaking at the event, Jin said, "I need to talk about FESTA. I gave a good idea, but it received a lot of criticism. I took a look at it so let me try to explain. I took a draft with me from the start. Since I am in charge of the FESTA by myself this time, I contacted the organizer around October, November last year. But they were honest and said they already planned everything so there wasn’t much left to do. They asked me if I had any ideas. I said I wanted to do a free hug event, but they said no."
On the work front, Jin will reportedly appear in a survival reality show titled 'I'm Glad You Got a Good Rest', which is also known as 'Half-star Hotel in Lost Island'. In the show, participants will go to an abandoned and uninhabited island, where they have to turn it into a hotel and invite guests. It has not been revealed what Jin's role will be in 'I'm Glad You Got a Good Rest'. The BTS member and the makers of the survival show are yet to confirm or deny the reports.
Earlier, it was rumoured that Jin would act in his upcoming projects but the singer quickly dismissed these rumours on Weverse.
