BTS Jin Returns From Military: BTS member Jin has finally returned from the military today. While ARMYs are overjoyed, it was an emotional goodbye for Kim Seokjin as he was seen shedding tears while parting with his fellow soldiers. In a video, Jin can be seen asking another soldier not to cry. On the other hand, other BTS members namely Jungkook, Jimin, V, RM and Jhope also reunited at the camp to welcome Jin back as a citizen. While Suga could not be there, he joined the boys at the Hybe building later. BTS RM aka Kim Namjoon also played their popular song Dynamite as they all exchanged hugs. Many videos and photos of the same have been going viral on the internet.

BTS Jin has completed his mandatory military service after 18 long months and now, he is now back to civilian life. When the clock hit 12 midnight in South Korea, Jin's status on the military tracking app changed from 'Sergeant Kim Seokjin' to 'citizen Kim Seokjin'. ARMYs were thrilled, and many shared their joy on social media.

BTS Jin To Hold 'Hug' Event

As a part of his homecoming and BTS’ 11th anniversary celebrations, Jin will hold a ‘hug’ event with the lucky ARMY on June 13. The event consists of two sessions: the initial session, named the 'hug' event, will allow 1000 fans to receive a hug from Jin. The second session, titled 'Message from Jin,' will feature his performance for the audience. Winners of the first session are also entitled to attend the second session.

For those who might not know, Jin began his mandatory military service in December 2022, making him the first BTS member to enlist in the South Korean army. After completing five weeks of military training at boot camp, ‘The Astronaut’ singer was assigned as an assistant drill instructor at the 5th Infantry Division. Throughout his time in the South Korean military, Jin received various awards, including the Special Warrior status.
