BTS Jungkook continues to set new records, proving his global influence as a soloist. The K-pop star has now become the fastest Asian artist to surpass 17 million followers on Spotify. Despite currently serving in the military, his music remains as impactful as ever, with his solo album GOLDEN crossing 5.2 billion streams on the platform.

BTS Jungkook launched his personal Spotify account on February 11, 2022, and since then, his popularity has soared. As per Oneily Vibe, his account has experienced the fastest growth in followers among Asian artists. His achievements don’t stop there—he has also amassed over 40 million monthly listeners, the highest ever for a Kpop soloist.

His total streaming numbers are equally impressive. Across all his solo and collaborative projects, Jungkook has reached 8.2 billion streams, making him the first Kpop soloist and the fastest Asian artist to achieve this milestone.

Among Jungkook’s many successful songs, Seven remains a standout hit. Released in July 2023, the song has now surpassed 2.2 billion streams on Spotify, making Jungkook the first and fastest Asian artist to achieve this with a single track. Additionally, he holds the distinction of being the first Asian soloist to have three songs exceeding 1 billion streams—Seven, Standing Next to You and Left and Right, his collaboration with Charlie Puth.

His debut album GOLDEN has also achieved massive success. It is now the first and fastest Asian solo album to surpass 5.2 billion streams, solidifying Jungkook’s position as the most-streamed Asian solo artist with a studio album.

Jungkook may be away from the limelight due to his mandatory military service, which began in December 2023, but his music continues to dominate global charts. He is expected to be discharged in June 2025, and fans are eagerly waiting for his return. Meanwhile, social media is flooded with messages of support and pride as he keeps rewriting history with his records.
