BTS member Jungkook delighted fans worldwide with his latest single, 'Never Let Go', released on June 7 as part of FESTA 2024. This event marks the 11th anniversary of BTS's debut and includes various special content for fans.

The song rapidly gained immense popularity, clinching the top spot on iTunes charts in 100 countries within just a day. This impressive achievement underscores Jungkook's global appeal and the enduring support of BTS's dedicated fanbase, ARMY. In addition to dominating the US charts, "Never Let Go" also took the number one position in European countries like Italy, Germany, and France, as well as across various regions in Asia.

"Never Let Go" is a heartfelt gift from Jungkook to his fans, as part of the annual FESTA celebration. This two-week event is a tradition where BTS releases new music, videos, and other content to celebrate their debut anniversary on June 13.

Despite being on hiatus for his mandatory military service, Jungkook's thoughtful gesture has deeply resonated with fans. He enlisted in 2023 and is currently stationed in the 5th Infantry Division of the Republic of Korea Army, with an expected discharge in 2025. His commitment to connecting with fans even while serving in the military showcases his dedication and appreciation for their support.

In a heartfelt message on Weverse, Jungkook expressed his gratitude and regret for not being able to perform the song live. He wrote, "ARMY, did you receive my song gift well? I hope you like it. I worked on it thinking about you from the beginning. Actually, it's a song that I wanted to show you along with a house genre dance. It's a performance song. But I didn't have time to perform it. Too bad. If I could turn back time, I would have shot it somehow."

He added, "So please understand that part, and that's why I'm posting like this! I'm blaming myself. Anyway, it's already our 11th debut anniversary. Thank you for always being with us. I hope you don't get sick and stay healthy. It's really hot in the summer, so be careful of the heat! Goodbye then."

BTS, which debuted in 2013, has grown into one of the most influential Kpop bands in history, breaking records and gaining global fame.
