BTS’ Jungkook bagged the prestigious Global K-pop Song award at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards for his debut solo track 'Seven,' featuring Latto. The song, which stars Korean actress Han So Hee, has been a significant hit, dominating the global music charts for several consecutive months. 'Seven' has maintained its stronghold on the Billboard Top 100 and Top 200 charts, showcasing the continued success of Jungkook's music since July 14, 2023.
Jungkook continues to assert his dominance in the global music landscape with his remarkable vocals and notable collaborations. His song 'Seven' faced formidable competition from tracks like Fifty Fifty's 'Cupid,' Jimin's 'Like Crazy,' NewJeans's 'Ditto,' and NewJeans's 'OMG.'

In his award acceptance speech, Jungkook expressed, "It’s truly an honour. It’s very hard to express my gratitude in words. Thank you, ARMY, and everyone who loved this. Without you, it wouldn’t have been possible. While working on 'Seven,' I enjoyed those moments and want to thank everyone and Billboard for giving me this award."

Stray Kids continued their winning streak at the awards, securing the top K-pop album award at BBMA after making history with their consecutive Number 1 debuts on the Billboard 200. Their seventh studio album "5 Star" faced stiff competition from BTS' Jimin's 'FACE,' NewJeans' 2nd EP 'Get Up,' TOMORROW X TOGETHER's 'The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION,' and TWICE's 'READY TO BE: 12th Mini Album.'
ADOR and HYBE’s NewJeans became the pioneering 4th generation K-pop group to receive a BBMA, sharing the honour with BLACKPINK, which also secured their first Billboard award at the prestigious event.

At the Billboard Music Awards 2023, Morgan Wallen emerged as the evening's standout victor, securing a staggering 11 awards, including the Top Male Artist. Taylor Swift followed closely behind, collecting an impressive 10 awards. Swift took home the prestigious Top Artist of the Year accolade, triumphing over strong contenders like Drake and SZA. Adding to her triumph, she clinched the Top Female Artist award, competing against industry stalwarts such as Beyoncé, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, and SZA. Additionally, she secured the titles of Top Billboard 200 Artist and Top Hot 100 Songwriter (New), marking her remarkable dominance across multiple categories.

While SZA missed out on the Top Female Artist honour, she clinched multiple other accolades such as Top R&B Artist and Top R&B Album. BTS members Suga and Jimin faced losses in their respective categories.
