What To Expect From BTS Kdrama Youth?

BTS Struggle Period (Pain and Secrets)

The upcoming Kdrama, titled Youth, is based on the lives of popular Kpop band BTS. It will focus on their struggle period and how all the band members stood for each other in hard times. The year 2018 proved to be a challenging time for BTS, as each member grappled with personal difficulties. Unlike past instances, such as facing plagiarism accusations, the challenges BTS faced were more internal. These struggles, unique to each member, significantly impacted their mental well-being as a group. Despite their strong teamwork, the weight of their individual struggles led them to contemplate disbanding.

For the unversed, BTS was the first Kpop group to perform with a Korean-language debut song at the BBmas.

Disbandment Issue (When J-Hope almost quit)

During the year 2018, BTS premiered a documentary-style film called ‘Burn The Stage’ in theaters, providing insights into their journeys and lifestyles.  In a conversation, Jung Hoseok, also known as J-Hope, shared that he had considered leaving the band before their debut. He expressed his desire to pursue a solo career in dance and discussed it with the other members. However, the youngest member of BTS, Jungkook, became emotional upon learning of J-Hope's intentions to quit. Jungkook's heartfelt speech deeply affected J-Hope, ultimately leading him to decide to remain with the group.

BTS First World Tour

In the springtime of 2014, BTS left a lasting impression on the global music stage by hosting their inaugural concert beyond the borders of South Korea. Their chosen venue? None other than the vibrant and bustling city of Tokyo, Japan, where dreams intertwine and hopes reach new heights.

BTS first Guinness World Record

After their victory at the Billboard awards in 2017, the K-Pop group made their debut live television appearance for U.S. viewers during a show in Los Angeles. Their performance of the hit song 'DNA' sent the crowd into a frenzy, with people dancing enthusiastically. Jared Leto, who was scheduled to present right after their performance, even exclaimed, ''I need a moment to recover from that performance. That was incredible.''

The Korean boy band's remarkable performance garnered immense popularity, leading to them securing a place in the Guinness World Record the next day for the most Twitter engagements for a music group.
