BTS V, Jimin, Jungkook, RM, Suga and Jhope are currently fulfilling their mandatory military service, with Jin being the first to complete his duties and receiving a warm welcome from his fellow bandmates. Meanwhile, a series of photos featuring V, Jungkook, Jimin, Jhope, Suga, and RM have taken social media by storm, sending the ARMY community into a frenzy. Although the group is currently on hiatus due to their military commitments, fans are eagerly awaiting their highly anticipated reunion in 2025, when all members will have completed their service. In the meantime, the latest viral photos of the BTS members have given fans a glimpse into their lives during this period, and have only added to the excitement and anticipation for their eventual return as a group. BTS’ Jimin and Jungkook

BTS fans were thrilled as a photo of Jimin and Jungkook, taken during their military service, went viral. The duo started their service on Dec 12, 2023, and completed basic training on Jan 15, 2024. Thanks to South Korea's companion system, they're serving together, making their time in the military a little easier. A viral photo showcased Jimin and Jungkook flaunting their fit physiques alongside unit mates, with fans noting their youthful glow and healthy appearance, making them look like their 15-year-old selves again.

BTS’ V aka Kim Taehyung

BTS's V (Kim Taehyung) surprised fans by crashing a Kakao group chat during a break from military training. To prove his identity, he shared a selfie (selca) in his military uniform, showing off his muscular physique, taken on the 7th floor - a nod to OT7. The unexpected move sent fans into a frenzy, with more joining the chat after his surprise appearance.

BTS’ RM

BTS leader RM (Kim Namjoon) shared a photo on Instagram Stories, reposted from a friend, showing him and fellow military colleagues in uniform, smiling and flashing the peace sign, over two months into his military service.

BTS’ Jhope

BTS' Jhope, also known as Hobi, made the ARMY community incredibly proud with his outstanding achievements! Despite being busy fulfilling his mandatory military service, the talented rapper and dancer recently received the highest honour at a prestigious military competition. In his heartfelt thank-you speech, Jhope shared his personal experiences and reflections on his time in the army, offering a glimpse into his journey. Following the event, photos of Jhope in his military attire quickly spread like wildfire online, captivating fans and further solidifying his reputation as a role model and inspiration to many.

BTS’ Suga

BTS member Jin was officially discharged from the military on June 12, 2024, and was welcomed by his bandmates outside the base. However, Suga (Min Yoongi) was noticeably absent, sparking speculation that he was waiting in a car due to his different enlistment category as a social service employee, which requires a 21-month service period. However, the Kpop idol appeared during the cake-cutting ceremony of Jin, pics of which went viral on social media.
