After a near four-year hiatus, global Kpop sensation BTS has officially reunited, much to the delight of their fans worldwide. The group is set to make a powerful return with a new comeback album scheduled for release in March, marking their first collective musical project in years. Following the album launch, BTS will hit the road with an expansive world tour beginning in April. The 2026–2027 global tour will kick off in South Korea and continue through March 2027, featuring more than 70 shows across Asia, North America, South America, Australia and Europe.
This highly anticipated tour will mark BTS’ first headline live performances since their massively successful Permission to Dance on Stage tour in 2021–22, signaling a full-scale return to the global stage for the K-pop superstars.
Ahead of the launch of their new music on March 20, BTS was recently spotted in Lisbon, Portugal. The surprise sighting sparked excitement among fans, who gathered in large numbers hoping to catch a glimpse of the global Kpop icons. Despite the members— RM, Jin, Jimin, V, Suga, Jungkook and Jhope, keeping a low profile with their faces covered in masks, ARMYs had no trouble recognising them and erupted in cheers, turning the moment into an impromptu fan celebration.
What sparked online buzz was the sheer number of bags BTS carried to Lisbon. Fans were surprised to see stacks of identical silver suitcases, with some joking the group was “moving out” of South Korea, while others quipped about what could possibly be inside them.
On February 2, the global icons V, Jungkook, Jimin, Jhope, RM, Jin and Suga were spotted at the Incheon International Airport, which was a sight to behold. Soon after their photos and videos from the airport went viral, ARMYs too to X to celebrate. The BTS members turned the Airport into a high-fashion runway as they departed for an overseas schedule in Dubai. Jimin undoubtedly garnered the most social media attention. He debuted a striking blonde hairstyle that sent the internet into a meltdown. He wore a long black trench coat over an olive-green knit sweater vest with metal buttons and a black crew-neck tee.
