BTS Recommended Anime On OTT: Japanese anime has a huge fan following around the world as it offers intriguing content in different genres and captivating storylines. Kpop group BTS has also expressed their love for anime several times and was also seen watching them during their free time or in between their busy schedules. Take a look at the list of anime series and movies recommended by all the BTS members and where you can watch them on the OTT platforms.

1. Naruto

'Naruto: Shippuden' revolves around Naruto, a loud and hyperactive teenage ninja, who wants to become the leader and strongest of all ninjas in his village. It is one of the most popular anime of all time and is streaming on Netflix. BTS members have shared their love for 'Naruto' several times and even sang its theme song in one of the episodes of RUN BTS. Suga also cosplayed Naruto in 2015 and RM chose it as his favorite anime.

2. Dragon Ball

'Dragon Ball' revolves around a young warrior named Son Goku, who embarks on an adventurous journey to become stronger. The anime series is streaming on Crunchyroll. Suga and Jin called 'Dragon Ball' their favourite anime shows of all time.

3. One Piece

'One Piece' revolves around Monkey D. Luffy and his crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, where he explores the Grand Line in search of the mythical treasure, 'One Piece', to become the next King of the Pirates. Jimin has expressed his love for 'One Piece' several times and BTS members also gifted him an action figure of the character Zoro on his birthday. The anime is streaming on Netflix.

4. Attack On Titan

'Attack On Titan' is set in a post-apocalyptic world where the remains of humanity live behind walls protecting them from giant humanoid Titans. It revolves around Eren Yeager, who joins Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert after a Colossal Titan breaches the wall of his hometown, destroys the city and eats his mother. All the BTS members love 'Attack On Titan', which is streaming on Crunchyroll.

5. My Hero Academia

'My Hero Academia' is set in a world where being a superhero is a mainstream profession. The show revolves around Izuku Midoriya, who gets enrolled in UA High School and trains under superheroes. It is streaming on Netflix and Prime Video. BTS member V aka Kim Taehyung was seen watching 'My Hero Academia' while preparing for one of his performances.

6. Spirited Away

'Spirited Away' revolves around Chihiro Ogino, a ten-year-old girl who, while moving to a new neighbourhood, enters the world of Kami. She takes a job working at the witch Yubaba's bathhouse to find a way to free herself after her parents are turned into pigs. The movie won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature at the 75th Academy Awards, making it the first and only hand-drawn and non-English-language animated film to win the award. Jungkook once revealed that his childhood dream was to become Haku, the character in 'Spirited Away'.

7. Howl's Moving Castle

'Howl's Moving Castle' revolves around Sophie, a young milliner who is turned into an elderly woman by a witch who enters her shop and curses her. She later meets a wizard named Howl and gets caught up in his resistance to fighting for the king. The movie is set in a fictional kingdom where both magic and early twentieth-century technology are prevalent. BTS leader RM once shared a video of him playing the theme music of this anime movie.
