Ananya Panday-starrer web series ‘Call Me Bae’ is one of the highly-anticipated 8-part web series produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, with Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra serving as executive producers. Created by Ishita Moitra and directed by Collin D’Cunha, the series stars Ananya Panday in the lead role. This marks Ananya's streaming debut in an original series, where she plays the character Bella ‘Bae’ Chowdhary.
Call Me Bae OTT Release Date
Prime Video announced on Monday, “update your calendars, things are about to glow up! #CallMeBaeOnPrime, Sept 6.” So, according to Prime Video’s announcement, Call Me Bae will be out on Prime Video on September 6, 2024.
In addition to Ananya Panday, the series boasts an ensemble cast including Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra, and Mini Mathur. ‘Call Me Bae’ is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video in India and in over 240 countries and territories worldwide. Prime members worldwide will have access to the series upon its release.
‘Call Me Bae’, penned by Ishita Moitra, Samina Motlekar, and Rohit Nair, narrates the journey of Bae. After experiencing a shift from heiress to hustler, she realises that her greatest strengths lie not in her diamonds, but in her street smarts and sense of fashion. Despite facing financial challenges, she remains resilient, manoeuvring through the bustling newsrooms of Mumbai. Along the way, she encounters romantic interests, supportive friends, and ultimately discovers her true self.
