A complaint has been lodged against Telugu actor Shri Tej, alleging a pattern of emotional, financial and physical exploitation of a woman under the false promise of a marital commitment. The zero FIR was formally registered on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the Kukatpally Police Station, with the actor being booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including IPC Sections 69, 115(2), and 318(2).

According to the victim's harrowing account, Shri Tej, who gained recognition for his role in Allu Arjun's blockbuster film Pushpa: The Rise, allegedly manipulated her into a romantic relationship by making false promises of marriage. The victim further alleged that the actor exploited her financially to the tune of Rs 20 lakh, taking advantage of her trust and vulnerability.

In a shocking revelation, the victim also claimed that Shri Tej was simultaneously involved with another woman, identified as Archana, with whom he has a seven-year-old son, and that he coerced her into the relationship despite being already committed to someone else.

The situation took a tragic turn when Archana's husband, reportedly overcome with distress upon discovering her illicit affair with Shri Tej, succumbed to a severe case of heatstroke. The complainant, who has accused Shri Tej of exploiting her emotionally, financially and physically, has further alleged that the actor's actions have had a devastating impact on her personal life. She claimed that Shri Tej's affair with Archana has tarnished her family's relationships and has been used as a means to harm her social standing.

The complainant also disclosed that she had previously lodged a complaint at the Madhapur Police Station, but unfortunately, no action was taken at the time. Fortunately, the police have now initiated a formal investigation into the allegations, with the aim of addressing the victim's grievances and ensuring that justice is served. As the investigation unfolds, further details are awaited, and the public remains eager to see how this disturbing case will be resolved.
