Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 9: Based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Chhaava is still doing well at the box office after just two weeks of release. The box office total for Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna starrer is Rs 287.75 crore thus far.

Chhaava earned Rs 45 crore on its second Saturday, according to the industry tracking website, sacnilk. On Saturday, the blockbuster period drama saw a 91.49 increase in overall occupancy, with morning shows accounting for 35.55%, afternoon shows for 53.98%, and evening shows for 61.82%. Chhaava had an overall 56.09% Hindi occupancy on Saturday, February 22, 2025.

Chhaava earned Rs 219.25 crore net in its first week in India following a solid debut of Rs 31 crore net. With collections of Rs 37 crore and Rs 48.5 crore, it did well on its first weekend as well. There are no indications that the movie will slow down.

Chhava Movie Budget

Chhaava mounted on a budget of Rs 130 crores, has already registered profits within the first week. It has earned approximately over Rs 250 crores at the box office. In Bollywood, the Vicky Kaushal movie, Chhaava is officially the first successful and profitable production of 2025. No other movie, not even Deva or Sky Force, has been successful this year.

About Chhaava Movie

Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna play the main parts in the movie, which is based on Shivaji Sawant's Marathi novel Chhava. Important parts are also played by Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, and Diana Penty. Since its premiere, the movie has held its own, but it is unclear how it will perform going forward.

The historical drama 'Chhaava' was lauded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for highlighting the valour of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. He said, "Ye Maharashtra aur Mumbai hi hai jisne Marathi filmo ke saath saath, Hindi cinema ko ye unchai di hai. Aur in dino toh, Chhaava ki dhoom machi hui hai."
