Chhaava: The life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, a monarch whose legacy is largely overshadowed by his much more well-known father, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, is explored in depth in the new historical epic, Chhaava.
As Chhava's release date draws closer, a key figure from Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's life was revealed. The movie will feature actor Vineet Kumar Singh as a Maratha warrior's close aide and renowned poet.
Vineet Kumar Singh shared the news on Instagram and the caption read, "A poet with the heart of a warrior, and an unshakable ally to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj - Kavi Kalash."

Ashutosh Rana will play the character of Hambirrao Mohite, Diana Penty will be essay the role of Aurangzeb's daughter Zinat-un-Nissa Begum, Divya Dutta will be seen as Soyarabai Bhosale. Vineet Kumar plays Kavi Kalash, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's close ally.
