Citadel Plot

The official plot of Citadel revolves around the Global spy agency Citadel has fallen, and its agents' memories who were wiped clean. Spies Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh are presumed dead during a mission in Italy, after being ambushed by Manticore agents. Eight years later, Mason (having his memory wiped out) lives a quiet life as Kyle Conroy with his wife and daughter. Now the powerful syndicate, Manticore, is rising in the void.

Citadel Budget

According to reports, Citadel has been set on a huge budget of over Rs 1600 crore. Speaking about the same in a press interview, Priyanka Chopra said that she did not have her focus on the budget as it was ‘above her paygrade’. “I don’t think it is important that when you go and do your job to think about stuff like budgeting. I think it is coming on a great platform, which is Prime, and it is a great show, but the numbers and dollars, I can’t just think about that. There is no point, not for us. Above my paygrade,” the actor said during a press interaction.

In March 2022, the series was renewed for a second season.
