Citadel Honey Bunny actress Shruti Narayan has recently shared her disappointment after being mistakenly identified as Tamil actress Shruthi Narayanan, whose alleged casting couch footage was leaked. Her image and profile were attributed
to Shruthi, which caused huge confusion. Now, clearing the air, Shruti issued an official statement, in which she shared her disappointment. She also shared her profile explaining that she recently worked on Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan’s Prime Video web series, Citadel Honey Bunny.
In her Instagram post, Shruti Narayan wrote, “I am Shruti Narayann, a Mumbai-based model/actor, who has acted in Citadel: Honey Bunny. Some media outlets have been using my image and profile in a story about a Tamil serial actress whose adult video has gone viral. Media should do a minimum level of diligence on whom they are reporting and not drag unrelated people into controversies.”
Shruti Narayan also told India Today Digital, “Due to media reports incorrectly crediting Shruthi Narayanan as an actress in Citadel: Honey Bunny, some people have mistaken me for her and are harassing me on social media. I am also seriously concerned about my reputation and career due to this misattribution.”

The 24-year-old actress Shruthi Narayanan, who hails from Chennai, has been under unfortunate controversies after her casting couch video got leaked online. The video then went viral on social media like wildfire. Later, the actress penned two long notes on her Instagram stories where she stated that the alleged private video was created using AI. Shruthi wrote in one of her Instagram stories, “For you guys, spreading all these contents on me it's just a joke and fun content. But for me and my close ones this is a very hard situations for us. Especially for me it is a very difficult time, and it's a difficult situation to handle it. I'm also a girl and I also have feeling and my close ones also have feeling and you guys just make it worse and worse.”
