Critics' Choice Awards 2026: The 31st Critics' Choice Awards mark the formal start of the Hollywood awards season. The esteemed award ceremony honours exceptional accomplishments in films and television shows released in 2024 and is well-known for showcasing both critical favourites and popular hits. A star-studded evening, a fiercely competitive nomination process, and many new categories are all anticipated for this year's event.

Critics' Choice Awards 2026 will be televised live for almost three hours on both US coasts, according to the Critics' Choice Association, highlighting the event's magnitude and significance. For the fourth year in a row, comedian and TV broadcaster Chelsea Handler returns as the host, maintaining her affiliation with the awards.

When And Where To Watch 31st Critics' Choice Awards In India?

The Critics' Choice Awards will debut on January 5, 2026, for Indian fans who are anxious to witness the event live. JioHotstar will broadcast the function live in India. The main awards event will begin at approximately 5:20–5:30 AM IST, with red carpet coverage starting at 3:30 AM IST to give fans an early look at celebrity arrivals and fashion moments. The event will be broadcast live on E! and USA Network in the United States from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.

What To Expect From Critics' Choice Awards This Year?

This year's award event features four new categories - Best Variety Series, Best Stunt Design, Best Casting and Ensemble, and Best Sound. It honours the best and best from film, television, and streaming media. With an astounding 17 nominations, Sinners is the top contender for the 2025 Critics' Choice Awards. Adolescence leads the television category with six nominations, including Best Limited Series. Nobody Wants This, which received five nods, is right behind it.

Macy are just a few of the show.
