After leaving Patel's home in Nairobi, Kaur returned to Mumbai a few months ago. Rumours about their relationship surfaced, and it was revealed on social media that Kaur left due to Patel's alleged extramarital affair. As her fans had been questioning her about the whole situation, she recently gave a befitting reply to one of them.
Dalljiet Kaur breaks silence on her broken marriage
A fan replied to Dalljiet’s post, “It was understood earlier... after your second marriage, we didn't get good vibes. Some people don't even have children even then I stay alone. Why need a life partner to live life and that too who lives so far away? You ruined your son’s life in this.” Replying to the fan’s comment, Dalljiet said, “I left because I had faith in the institution of marriage. I had faith in the parent of a daughter. I thought he had a daughter, what wrong can he do!”

For the unversed, Dalljiet Kaur accused Nikhil Patel of infidelity, leading him to confirm their separation. According to reports, Dalljiet Kaur's social media posts accusing her husband, Nikhil Patel, of having an extramarital affair may be legally questionable under several Indian laws. These laws include the Indian Penal Code, the Information Technology Act of 2000, and The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act of 2012. Patel has claimed that Dalljiet had shared photos and videos of his daughter without consent, making her liable for civil and criminal actions.
Earlier, Dalljiet Kaur addressed cheating in marriage on Instagram. She shared a video of herself in traditional attire asking, "What's your thought on extra-marital affairs? Who is to be blamed?…The girl…The husband…The wife."
In another post, she shared a gym selfie of a man with his face hidden, writing, "SN…You make me better! You are out on social media with her now every day shamelessly. Your wife and son came back in 10 months of the wedding. The entire family is humiliated. Some dignity for the kids would have been good. At least you should have left your wife a little dignity publicly as I was quiet about a lot of other things too.”
