Shortly after reports of her demise emerged, Suhani's father, Sumit Bhatnagar, addressed the media regarding his daughter. He revealed that Suhani had been battling dermatomyositis, a rare inflammatory condition characterised by skin rash and muscle weakness. On the other hand, expressing grief, Sanya Malhotra shared a heartfelt message for her late co-star.
Cause Of Suhani's Death
Suhani Bhatnagar was hospitalised at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, on February 7 and passed away on February 16 due to medical complications. "She developed a red spot on her hands about two months ago. We thought it was allergy and we consulted with doctors in different hospitals in Faridabad but it couldn't be diagnosed. When her condition started deteriorating, we got her admitted to AIIMS. But there was no improvement and her lungs were damaged due to accumulation of excess fluid," Suhani's father, Sumit Bhatnagar said, according to PTI.

Residing in Faridabad with her family, Suhani had paused her acting career to focus on her studies. Her final rites were conducted at the Ajronda cremation ground in Delhi on Saturday.
