S Prem Anand's directorial 'DD Returns' is all set to release on OTT after its successful theatrical run. This is the third instalment in the 'Dhilluku Dhuddu' film series and stars Santhanam and Surbhi in the lead roles. The movie revolves around a group of friends, who hide a bag full of money and jewellery in a haunted bungalow. Things take a dark turn when the ghosts in the bungalow make them play a survival game in return for the bag.

DD Returns OTT Release Date:

'DD Returns' will be released on Zee5 on September 1, 2023.

Announcing the OTT release date of 'DD Returns', the official Instagram account of ZeeTamil wrote, "THE GALATTA GANG IS BACK WITH A BANG! The biggest comedy blockbuster of the year is coming to ZEE5! STAY TUNED!"

'DD Returns' also stars Redin Kingsley, Maran, Pradeep Rawat, Masoom Shankar, Fefsi Vijayan, Motta Rajendran, Munishkanth, Dheena, Bipin, Thanga Durai and Deepa in pivotal roles.

Talking about 'DD Returns' and its OTT release, director S. Prem Anand said in an official statement, “I really wanted the film to make a mark in the horror comedy genre. I took my time to envision a perfect balance between the horror and comic elements so that the hilarity of the plot lasts till the end. I wanted it to be a fun-filled experience for the audience and I was glad when they showered us with love in the theatres. I have my fingers crossed hoping 'DD Returns' receives a greater appreciation in the digital space.”

On the work front, Santhanam will be seen in the 'Kick'. He will also star in the web series 'MY 3' alongside Hansika Motwani. He was last seen in 'Agent Kannayiram' alongside Riya Suman, Munishkanth, and Redin Kingsley.
