Devara Box Office Collection Day 1: Jr NTR’s latest action thriller has kicked off its box office journey with impressive momentum. On its opening day, the film is projected to earn around Rs 170 crore worldwide, according to early estimates. Directed by Kortala Siva, Devara has received mixed reviews, but that hasn’t significantly impacted its Day 1 earnings. With current trends, it’s set to become one of the biggest Day 1 grossers in history. However, it’s still expected to fall short of the Rs 191.5 crore opening achieved by Prabhas’s Kalki 2898 AD.

Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, Devara - Part 1 features a star-studded cast, including NTR Jr, Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Shine Tom Chacko, Murali Sharma and Prakash Raj.

About Devara

In Devara - Part 1, Jr NTR takes on a dual role as Devara and Varadha, with his character at the heart of the story, set against a backdrop of power struggles in a coastal region. The film opens with a police raid on villagers looting ships and is centered in Ratnagiri near the Red Sea, where four neighboring villages engage in an annual competition called Sangram to determine who retains weapons for the year. While the initial 15 minutes feel somewhat disjointed, they establish the narrative groundwork.

The main conflict arises between Devara and his former friend Bhairava (Saif Ali Khan), who, driven by greed, schemes to smuggle illegal arms. Rejecting this path, Devara becomes a vigilante and teams up with the Indian Coast Guard. Complications arise when Devara's son, Vara (also played by Jr NTR), is manipulated by Bhairava, leading to a dramatic showdown between father and son as they unite against a common enemy.
