Dhanush is one of the most talented actors in India and is well known for his versatile choices when it comes to movies. He has also gained an international fan following and was seen in the Hollywood movie 'The Gray Man', directed by The Russo Brothers. According to the buzz on social media, Dhanush is in talks to star in 'Avengers: Doomsday' and will reportedly be seen in a key role.

Earlier, at the press conference of 'The Gray Man', Dhanush was asked how he landed up with the project. His reply made everyone chuckle. "I don’t know how I ended up in this film", Dhanush said. He further added, "The casting agency in India told me that they have a Hollywood project for me. They said it is a big film. So I said okay. I asked which film, what film? They said it is a big film. So I said alright, and it can’t get bigger than this."

'Avengers: Doomsday' will star Robert Downey Jr, who will mark his return to Marvel as Doctor Doom. For the unversed, Doctor Doom is one of the biggest villains in the Marvel Universe and is the enemy of the leader of the Fantastic Four, Reed Richards. He also gets into fights with other Marvel characters like Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Black Panther and X-Men. Joseph Culp, Julian McMahon and Toby Kebbell have earlier played Doctor Doom in the Fantastic Four movies.

In an earlier interview with Variety, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said that he is not going to touch Iron Man's death in 'Avengers: Endgame'.

He said, "We are going to keep that moment and not touch that moment again. We all worked very hard for many years to get to that, and we would never want to magically undo it in any way."

'Avengers: Doomsday' will release in theatres in 2026.

On the work front, Dhanush was last seen in 'Raayan', which has become a blockbuster.
