Dhurandhar 2 Box Office Collection Day 9: Ranveer Singh’s latest cinematic outing, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, has transitioned from a mere film release into a historic box-office event. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy thriller has maintained incredible momentum, crossing the monumental Rs 1,100 crore mark globally in just nine days. Despite a slight dip in daily collections as it entered its second weekend, the film continues to dominate theatres across India and overseas.

Dhurandhar 2 Worldwide Collection

As of Day 9, Dhurandhar 2 has officially surpassed the lifetime earnings of major blockbusters like Kalki 2898 AD and Pathaan. The film collected Rs 41.55 crore net in India on its second Friday, bringing its total domestic net collection to Rs 715.72 crore. Globally, the film has been a powerhouse, with the worldwide gross now standing at an impressive Rs 1,128.99 crore.

While these numbers are astronomical, the film still sits outside the top eight highest-grossing Indian films of all time. It is currently chasing the records set by Jawan (Rs 1,160 crore) and RRR (Rs 1,230 crore). The ultimate goal remains surpassing its own predecessor, the original Dhurandhar, which concluded its run at Rs 1,307.35 crore.

The film’s success is largely driven by the Hindi-speaking belt, where it saw 31.7 per cent occupancy across more than 16,000 shows on Friday. However, its reach extends across the country with steady contributions from other regions:

  • Telugu: Rs 2.85 crore

  • Tamil: Rs 0.85 crore

  • Kannada: Rs 0.25 crore

  • Malayalam: Rs 0.10 crore

Amidst the box-office frenzy, director Aditya Dhar has made a heartfelt request to fans regarding the film's many twists. Fearing that leaks could ruin the experience for others, he stated, "PLEASE DON'T SHARE SPOILERS! Let every single fan walk in clueless but curious and walk out with their own deeply personal version of what they felt." He further added that the film was made to surprise the audience, saying, "We had to make you feel emotions you weren't prepared for. Deeply. Honestly. That is never easy. But for you, we tried our very hardest."
