Dhurandhar 2 OTT Release: Ranveer Singh's spy action thriller Dhurandhar has emerged as one of the biggest box office successes among recent releases, raising expectations for the sequel. The makers recently teased fans with a cryptic 12:12 post, followed by the much-awaited teaser unveiling. Aditya Dhar's directorial Dhurandhar The Revenge has already generated a strong buzz with its anticipated storyline and high-octane action sequences, while reports about its OTT partner have been circulating. A latest report has now surfaced claiming the amount involved in the streaming deal.
Dhurandhar 2 OTT Platform
Dhurandhar Part 1, which is currently streaming on OTT giant Netflix has been creating records since its digital premiere. Meanwhile, the sequel seems to have found a new digital partner. The recently released Dhurandhar 2 poster hinted at the film's OTT release platform with a branding of JioHotstar at the bottom. Ranveer and Aditya Dhar's film will stream on JioHotstar following its theatrical run.
Dhurandhar 2 OTT Digital Rights Deal Cost
According to the latest reports, the makers of Dhurandhar 2 have locked a massive OTT deal. As per Bollywood Hungama, Jio Studios has acquired the digital streaming rights for Dhurandhar 2 for a whopping Rs 150 crore.
Netflix had initially offered Rs 175 crore to acquire the streaming rights for both parts of Dhurandhar. However, JioHotstar reportedly secured the rights for Dhurandhar 2.

"Netflix wanted to buy both the instalments together at a sum of Rs. 175 crores prior to the release of the first part. But with immense faith in their product, Jio Studios waited for the first part release, and have secured a humongous deal of Rs. 150 crores for the second part alone. This is nearly double of what Netflix paid to acquire the first part," a source said.
The Rs 150 crore deal by Jio Studios makes it one of the biggest OTT transactions in recent times.
