Directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, the film has not only met but exceeded the massive expectations set by its star-studded cast and high-octane trailers. By its third day, the film has officially smashed its own record, cementing its status as a certified blockbuster during the festive Eid period.

According to the latest industry reports, the film's momentum shows no signs of slowing down. After a monumental opening day that raked in Rs 145 crore (£13.8 million), the film saw a steady following on its second day with Rs 80.72 crore. However, it was the Sunday performance that truly stunned trade analysts. The film’s international appeal has been a significant factor in these record-breaking figures. It has garnered roughly Rs 96.50 crore from overseas markets, performing exceptionally well in North America and Canada. With over 4,400 shows running globally, the sheer scale of the release is unprecedented for a Hindi film.
Dhurandhar 2 is written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar. The story follows Ranveer Singh in the complex role of a Pakistani spy, Hamza Ali Mazari. Critics have praised the film for its gripping storyline, powerful performances, and brilliant technical work. Alongside Singh, the film features a powerhouse ensemble including R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Arjun Rampal.
Industry experts are now looking toward the future with high optimism. Some suggest the film could eventually challenge the legendary status of Dangal. As the report notes, Dhurandhar 2 can also break the records of Stree 2, Jawaan, and its debut film in the coming days.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh Box Office Collection Day 3
While Ranveer Singh dominates the Hindi market, the Telugu action entertainer Ustaad Bhagat Singh, starring Pawan Kalyan, is fighting to hold its ground. Released on March 19 to coincide with the Ugadi festival, the film had a decent opening on the first day, but has seen a slight dip in momentum due to the Dhurandhar 2 wave.
On its third day, the Pawan Kalyan-starrer collected Rs 9.15 crore, bringing its total worldwide gross to Rs 71.67 crore. Despite the mixed reviews, Kalyan’s immense star power has kept the film afloat, particularly in South India. Directed by Harish Shankar, the film portrays Kalyan as a tough and honest police officer, a role that traditionally resonates with his core audience.
