Preity Zinta recently wished Salman Khan on his 59th birthday. The actress made a heartfelt wish on X where she also expressed her love for the superstar. As she made the tweet, several netizens shared that they were waiting for her tweet. One of the users even asked the actress if she and Salman ever dated. To which, the actress denied and stated that Salman is like ‘her family’ and ‘closest friend’. She also explained her equation with the superstar. 

In a post, Preity wrote on X “Happy Burrday @BeingSalmanKhan Just wanna say I love you the mostest Rest will tell you when I speak to you ….. and yes we need more photos otherwise I will keep posting the same old ones ! Ting.” 

A user commented, “Did you two ever date?” Preity responded, “No not at all ! He is family & my closest friend and my husband’s friend too .. just in case you were wondering Sorry ! Couldn’t resist.” 

The duo starred in several films together including Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega (2000), Chori Chori Chupke Chupke (2001), Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa (2004), Jaan-E-Mann (2006) and Heroes (2008).

In a quick chat session, a fan asked about good Bollywood romantic movie. She replied, “I was thinking the same. Hopefully some good writing & some new ideas will emerge from someone whose heart is in the right place I’m waiting just like you.” 

She also talked about her upcoming project. She said “Thank you ! My new project is called Lahore 1947 and it will release next year.” 

Her upcoming movie Lahore 1947 will be released in 2025. The movie stars Aamir Khan, Ali Fazal, Sunny Deol, Preity G Zinta, Vicky Kaushal, Shabana Azmi, Mithun Chakraborty and Karan Deol in key roles. The film has been directed by ace filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi.
